RBC on Monday, 15th February 2021, met Honourable Joshua Dau Diu, Co-Chair of the Jieeng Council of Elders (JCE). Honourable Joshua was candid, calm and elaborative in his answers to the RBC’s tough questions. The interview covered many aspects of the organisation, including its genesis, the accusations that have been laid upon it and its past and current stance on the situation in the country. The discussion gave new insights into the latest position of the JCE, as presented in their recently released paper. The fragile economic and political situation in the country requires that all voices, especially civil society groups, such as the JCE, are heard. The interview is in three parts.
